NBA: Draft
USATSI

The official order for the 2023 NBA Draft was determined in the NBA Draft Lottery, but that doesn’t mean there haven’t been plenty of changes since then and that late reported trades will determine where players will wind up after their name’s are called on Thursday.

One of the biggest deals was agreed to Wednesday when Kristaps Porzingis was traded to the Boston Celtics in a complicated three-way deal that included Boston also receiving the No. 25 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and shipping Marcus Smart to the Memphis Grizzlies, while Washington got super-backup point guard Tyus Jones, along with some draft capital and salary filler.

And it won’t be the last trade before all is said and done Thursday at Barclays Center.

Making it even more complicated is that teams will be making picks on Thursday night at Barclays Center even though its been reported they have already agreed to trade the player who is smiling and wearing their hat – can you say awkward?

It should be a busy night but you can keep track of the details of the latest reported trades though our Trade Tracker as teams make deals.
