What you need to know about the Pistons

The Pistons lost 117-89 to the the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. Detroit was down 90-62 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Shooting guard Saddiq Bey struggled for Detroit, finishing with only four points on 2-for-13 shooting in his 31 minutes on the court.

Jerami Grant leads the team with 16.8 points per game, but that’s a good bit down from his 22.3-point average from last season. Top draft pick Cade Cunningham is back after missing the first few games with an injury. He’s only scored a combined eight points in two games, however, so Detroit will be looking for him to get going offensively.

What you need to know about the 76ers

Meanwhile, Philadelphia walked away with a 103-98 win over the Bulls on Wednesday. Shooting guard Seth Curry filled up the stat sheet, picking up 22 points along with five rebounds. Joel Embiid is leading the way with 20.6 points per game. He’s not on the injury report for Thursday, but his status is always worth monitoring, especially on the second half of a back-to-back.

Tobias Harris (medical protocols) and Danny Green (hamstring) are both day-to-day, while Ben Simmons (personal) remains out indefinitely.
