Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin continues to spread CPR awareness following his bounce back from cardiac arrest he suffered during the 2022 NFL season.
This time, his teammate was a baseball squad, the New York Yankees along with Fordham softball player Sarah Taffett. She, like Hamlin, sustained a heart-related injury of his own on the diamond.
The New York City based groups came together for “Hope Week,” which celebrates acts of goodwill and perseverance. It was originally introduced in 2009.
