Through 3 Quarters

Down two at the end of last quarter, the Boston Celtics have now snagged the lead. After three quarters neither squad has the contest in the bag, but Boston leads 65-64 over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Celtics have been relying on power forward Al Horford, who has 12 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks, and small forward Jayson Tatum, who has 18 points in addition to four boards. One thing to keep an eye out for is Dennis Schroder’s foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Small forward Cedi Osman has led the way so far for Cleveland, as he has 14 points and four assists.

What to Know

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. ET Nov. 15 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Neither Cleveland nor Boston could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.

The Celtics are out to make up for these teams’ game this past Saturday. The Cavaliers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Boston 91-89. The win came about thanks to a strong surge after the half to overcome a 52-38 deficit. Cleveland can attribute much of their success to power forward Evan Mobley, who had 19 points along with nine boards and three blocks.

Despite Cleveland winning this past one, the oddsmakers have Boston as a 3.5-point favorite. Cleveland is currently eight-for-eight against the spread in their most recent games, however, a trend bettors might want to take into account.

Cleveland’s win lifted them to 9-5 while Boston’s loss dropped them down to 6-7. We’ll see if Cleveland can repeat their recent success or if Boston bounces back and reverse their fortune.
