Mark Vientos shares Francisco Lindor’s advice that helped him skyrocket to AAA | Mets Prospective

This week on Mets Prospective presented by Verizon, hosts Jacob Resnick and Joe DeMayo interview New York Mets 3B prospect Mark Vientos. The 21-year-old third baseman was recently promoted from Double-A to Triple-A Syracuse. In this week’s episode, Jacob and Joe caught up with the power hitting right hander to discuss the adjustments he’s had to make over the years after being drafted by the Mets as a 17-year-old, his first experience at Major League spring training, and the advice he received from Francisco Lindor as well as his relationship with fellow third base prospect Brett Baty, who he recently spent time playing with in Double-A. The guys also share their thoughts on the progression being made by two of the top prospects in the system: #1 prospect Francisco Alvarez and shortstop Ronny Mauricio.
