Former Tennessee pitcher Chase Silseth appeared in relief for the Los Angeles Angels Tuesday.

Silseth pitched two innings, allowing one earned run, one hit and one walk, while recording one strikeout in the Angels’ 7-3 versus the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois.

Silseth (1-1) appeared in 18 games for the Vols in 2019.

He transferred to College of Southern Nevada in 2020. In an abbreviated 2020 season, the former Vol was 3-2 with a 2.10 ERA.

In 2021, Silseth pitched for Arizona and made one start in the College World Series.

Silseth made his Major League Baseball debut in May 2022 for the Angels.

He was selected by the Angels in the 11th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.
