Two-run homers by Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso staked the Mets to a 4-1 lead but starter Carlos Carrasco and the bullpen couldn’t shut the door as the Braves continued their mastery over New York with a 6-4 win. Besides the two home runs, the Mets managed just two singles while the Braves had 10 hits, going 4-10 with runners in scoring position.
