Tennessee and Vanderbilt concluded its three-game Southeastern Conference series Sunday.

The Vols defeated Vanderbilt, 5-0, at Hawkins Field in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tennessee has opened Southeastern Conference play 9-0 during the 2022 season. The Vols have won 11 consecutive SEC games dating back to last season.

Tennessee entered the Vanderbilt series as the sixth team to make it through the first two weeks of Southeastern Conference play unbeaten since the league went to a 30-game conference schedule in 1996.

No. 1 Tennessee (27-1, 9-0 SEC) defeated No. 5 Vanderbilt, 5-2, Saturday in game No. 2.

The Vols defeated Vanderbilt, 6-2, in game No. 1 Friday.
