Who’s Playing

Chicago @ Portland

Current Records: Chicago 10-4; Portland 7-8

What to Know

The Portland Trail Blazers are 9-3 against the Chicago Bulls since November of 2015, and they’ll have a chance to extend that success Wednesday. Portland will stay at home another game and welcome Chicago at 10 p.m. ET Nov. 17 at Moda Center at the Rose Quarter. If the matchup is anything like the Trail Blazers’ 123-122 win from their previous meeting in January, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.

Portland didn’t have too much breathing room in their game with the Toronto Raptors on Monday, but they still walked away with a 118-113 victory. Portland’s shooting guard CJ McCollum looked sharp as he shot 6-for-11 from beyond the arc and finished with 29 points and six dimes.

Meanwhile, Chicago strolled past the Los Angeles Lakers with points to spare on Monday, taking the contest 121-103. Small forward DeMar DeRozan continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, picking up 38 points and six assists.

The Trail Blazers are now 7-8 while the Bulls sit at 10-4. A couple stats to keep an eye on: Portland has allowed their opponents to shoot 46.50% from the floor on average, which is the fifth highest shooting percentage allowed in the league. Chicago’s offense has more to brag about, as they they rank third in the league when it comes to field goal percentage, with 46.80% on the season.
