Last season at the NBA trade deadline, a Kyle Lowry move to Miami was one of the most anticipated non-deals of the day. He joined the Heat in the offseason, but the 35-year-old point guard is averaging his lowest offensive totals since his first season as a full-time starter in 2010-11. Kemba Walker’s move to New York looked brilliant when the Knicks got off to a 5-1 start. Now, they have lost five of their last seven, and Walker’s numbers are at their lowest since his rookie year.

Rather than reaching for the familiar names, you may get more bang for your Fantasy buck by looking at a player like Houston’s Kevin Porter Jr. On Monday, Houston takes on Memphis, which has allowed the third-most Fantasy points to opposing point guards on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings. What other names are smarter fits for your NBA DFS lineups on Monday than the same, old household names? Before locking in your NBA DFS picks for Monday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Sunday, McClure listed Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons as one of his top NBA DFS picks on FanDuel and DraftKings. The result: With Damian Lillard out of the lineup, Simons stepped up with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists to return 30.25 points on DraftKings and 30 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Monday, November 15 NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Monday, November 15

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Monday is Lakers power forward Anthony Davis at $10,400 on DraftKings and $10,700 on FanDuel. Davis is coming off one of his best performances of the season against San Antonio, when he scored 34 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and added two blocks and a steal to put up 69.75 points on DraftKings and 69 points on FanDuel.

The Lakers take on the Chicago Bulls on Monday night, and Chicago has allowed opponents to make nearly 60 percent of their field goal attempts within five feet of the rim. The Bulls have been much better at defending mid-range shots, so Davis should be doing most of his work around the basket, where he has made 75 percent of his attempts this season. Davis isn’t afraid to pull up and shoot, but 37 percent of his field goal attempts this season have come at the hoop.

Part of McClure’s NBA DFS strategy also includes rostering Bulls guard Alex Caruso ($4,000 on DraftKings, $4,400 on FanDuel). The Bulls backcourt is in a bit of distress, with Lonzo Ball shooting poorly and Coby White dealing with a shoulder injury. Caruso didn’t play great in his first start of the season on Sunday against the Clippers, but he did play more than anyone for Chicago with over 38 minutes on the floor.

Caruso is a plus-defender, and he should be motivated against his former team on Monday. He’s averaging career highs in rebounds (3.1) and assists (3.8) this season and he’ll want to put Sunday’s 2-for-11 shooting night behind him. The Lakers ranks 12th in defense this year, compared to first last season, so Caruso should have an easier time on Monday even if he doesn’t start for a second consecutive game.

How to set NBA DFS lineups for Monday, November 15

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Monday because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
