After missing 42 games due to a twice-injured elbow, Paul George returned to the Los Angeles Clippers‘ lineup against Utah on Tuesday with a performance that delighted his team and those that put him in their NBA DFS lineups. George scored 34 points, had six assists and four steals in a six-point win over the Jazz. After showing he was ready for a return to action, should he be considered once again in the NBA DFS player pool on Thursday?

Paul looked like he was back to his old self, made 10-of-20 shot attempts and hit six of his nine three-pointers. The Clippers play the Bulls on Thursday, who have allowed the seventh-highest percentage of three-pointers this season, but have held opponents to a stingy 27.2 percent from downtown over their last three games. Before you make your NBA DFS picks for Thursday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Wednesday, McClure listed both Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic in his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Jokic had 37 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists, while Doncic finished with 35 points, 13 assists and nine boards. Each player was tops at their respective positions to return a combined 144 points on DraftKings and 139.4 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included them in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Thursday, March 31, NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Thursday, March 31

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks on Thursday is Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,800 on DraftKings and $11,900 on FanDuel). The Bucks have been careful about his workload in recent games due to knee soreness which has him listed as probable tonight, but he played over 37 minutes in his last game against Philadelphia on Tuesday. Antetokounmpo had his ninth game this season in which scored at least 40 points.

The two-time MVP also had 14 rebounds and six assists in the game, which was his fifth consecutive start with double-digit rebounds. In his last game against Brooklyn on February 26, he also had 14 rebounds and six assists to go with 29 points. Antetokounmpo has also made 58.3 percent of his shots over his last five starts.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Utah guard Donovan Mitchell ($8,800 on DraftKings and $8,100 on DanDuel). The leading scorer for the Jazz is coming off of a huge game against the Los Angeles Clippers, where he scored 33 points and had six assists. Mitchell is going to have to continue stepping up on offense as Bojan Bogdanovic and Danuel House Jr. remain questionable on the injury report and could be limited if they return on Thursday.

The Jazz take on the Lakers on Thursday night, and Mitchell went off against them in their last meeting. On February 16, Mitchell unloaded to the tune of 37 points, which included five made three-pointers. Mitchell also came away with four steals in that start, and over his last four games, he has swiped another five.
