The Cavaliers have been decimated by injuries this season and Darius Garland (back) is the latest Cav to be sidelined. He’s not expected to be out long, but he will miss Wednesday’s game vs. the Rockets. He leads Cleveland in both points and assists, so his absence is one fewer proven guard in the NBA DFS player pool. But this is also an opportunity to get his replacement at a discount for Wednesday’s NBA DFS lineups.

Replacing Garland will come by committee, but guard Brandon Goodwin just showed what he can do when given ample playing time. Goodwin scored a career-high of 21 points on Monday vs. the Pelicans and should be a cheap source of points again on Wednesday. But what other undervalued options should factor into your NBA DFS strategy? Before locking in your NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Tuesday, McClure included Spurs guard Dejounte Murray as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Murray filled up the stat sheet with 27 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and two steals, returning 55.25 points on DraftKings and 54.3 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Wednesday, February 2, NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, February 2

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday is Nets guard James Harden who is listed at $11,200 on DraftKings and $10,500 on FanDuel. After missing two games due to a hand injury, Harden triumphantly returned on Tuesday with 22 points, 10 assists and five rebounds vs. the Suns. It was his fourth straight double-double and sixth in the last seven games.

Those seven games coincide with Kevin Durant’s knee injury and unavailability as Harden is putting up 24.6 points, 11.3 assists and 7.9 rebounds over this stretch. All but one of the games have come on the road — as is tonight’s contest vs. Sacramento — so Kyrie Irving’s presence isn’t hindering Harden’s numbers. The 2018 MVP hasn’t faced the Kings yet this season, but last year he had triple-doubles in two games vs. Sacramento, with both also coming once he swapped his Rockets uniform for a Nets one.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Mavericks guard Luka Doncic ($11,600 on DraftKings and $11,200 on FanDuel). Doncic is coming off a 34-point, 12-rebound, 11-assist performance on Sunday which was his second triple-double over the last three games.

Doncic now has seven triple-doubles on the season and one of those game against Wednesday’s opponent, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Just two weeks ago, Doncic posted 20 points, 12 assists, 11 rebounds, three steals and a season-high of three blocks versus OKC. With Kristaps Porzingis (knee) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (foot) out tonight, look for Doncic to assume even more responsibilities within the Mavericks offense and put up huge numbers against one of the league’s worst teams.

How to set your NBA DFS lineups for Wednesday, February 2

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Wednesday because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
