The 2023 NBA All-Star Game has always been one of the sport’s biggest spectacles, and this year’s group of players blends All-Star veterans with an exciting new generation of young talent. One player that will be looking to make his mark in the game and in NBA DFS lineups is Luka Doncic. Although he has been one of the top NBA DFS picks ever since his rookie season, he’s yet to score more than eight points in any of his three previous All-Star appearances.

His new Mavericks teammate, Kyrie Irving, will also be in the NBA DFS player pool, and he scored 24 points in his last NBA All-Star game in 2021. The two could potentially be on the same All-Star team if either LeBron James or Giannis Antetokounmpo are able to draft both for the teams they’ll be captaining on Sunday in Salt Lake City. Before you make your NBA DFS picks for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

In the 2022 NBA All-Star Game, James was one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks. The result: James finished with 24 points, eight assists, six rebounds and three steals. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on their way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to Sunday’s 2023 All-Star Game NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game

James is one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for the 2023 All-Star Game yet again. Since the league has moved away from the traditional East vs. West format and used players as captains that drafted teams ahead of the game, James has led a team every year and is undefeated. Over the last five All-Star games, James has played a significant role on his own team in every season save for 2021 and has averaged 23.8 points per game in the other four.

James missed three games ahead of his last start against New Orleans just before the All-Star break, but in 13 total starts since January 15, he’s been on fire. During that stretch, he averaged 32.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7.5 assists. He’s also hit 52% of his total shots in that run and 36.8% of his 3-pointers.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering 76ers center Joel Embiid. Last season, Embiid led Team Durant with 36 points and 10 rebounds. In his four career NBA All-Star Game appearances, Embiid has averaged 21.8 points and 10 rebounds while hitting over 40% of his 3-point attempts

Embiid also comes to the All-Star Game on a hot streak, and over his last 10 starts, he has averaged 32.1 points and 11.5 rebounds. Centers that aren’t willing to shoot threes in the All-Star Game don’t tend to stand out as top performers, but Embiid should be willing to let a few fly from deep on Sunday. Over his last 10 starts, Embiid is 11-for-28 from beyond the 3-point arc.

How to set your NBA DFS lineups for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Sunday because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.

So who is DFS pro Mike McClure putting in his optimal NBA DFS lineups for Sunday? Visit SportsLine now to see optimal NBA DFS picks, rankings, advice, and stacks, all from a professional DFS player who has almost $2 million in career winnings, and find out.
