The 2021-22 NBA season continues on Saturday and the Minnesota Timberwolves will be back in action one night after absolutely destroying the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center 107-83. Karl-Anthony Towns had 29 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and a blocked shot in the victory and produced over 48 points for NBA daily Fantasy players on both FanDuel and DraftKings. However, he’s priced at $9.7K on FD and $10.5 on DK, and he’ll be tested in the Staples Center again by the Clippers on short rest this evening.

So is Towns a good option for your NBA DFS lineups on Saturday night, or should you be favoring other big men in the NBA DFS player pool given the price and the matchup? Jarrett Allen and Jonas Valanciunas have both been more productive than expected and both are more cost-effective than Towns. Budget options like Isaiah Stewart and Steven Adams, meanwhile, can free up cap space to spend on stars at other positions. Before locking in any NBA DFS picks, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Friday, McClure listed Bucks guard Jrue Holiday as one of his top NBA DFS picks on FanDuel and DraftKings. The result: Holiday had 17 points, 13 assists, six rebounds and three steals to return nearly 8x on DraftKings and over 7x on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Saturday, November 13 NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Saturday, November 13

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks for Saturday is Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley at $4,200 on DraftKings and $5,000 on FanDuel. Beverley has been known primarily for locking down the opponent’s best guard defensively, and there’s some daily Fantasy utility in that, but he can also pick his spots at the offensive end and goes on spurts where his value can far exceed his price.

So far this season, he’s been an effective distributor for the Timberwolves, averaging a career-high 5.1 assists per game. And while he’s not putting up a high volume of shots, he’s hitting at a solid clip. Beverley’s 49.1 percent shooting percentage is the highest of his career and he should be motivated to contribute in a big way at both ends in a revenge game against the Clippers, who he played four seasons with, on Saturday.

Another key in McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Clippers guard/forward Paul George ($10,600 on DraftKings, $10,000 on FanDuel). George has been a secondary scoring option the past three seasons playing alongside Kawhi Leonard, but with Leonard still recovering from a torn ACL, George has taken on more responsibility at the offensive and is producing while continuing to play at a high level on defense.

George is averaging 26.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game this season. He’s also leading the NBA in steals (2.5 per game) which has helped buoy excellent NBA daily Fantasy numbers. George has had at least 42 points on DraftKings in each of his last seven games is averaging 51.4 points per game during that span, making him a solid NBA DFS choice even at a steep price.

How to set NBA DFS lineups for Saturday, November 13

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Saturday because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
