The Phoenix Suns barely escaped with a win against the Utah Jazz on Saturday, and they face another tough Western Conference opponent when they get back to work against the Sacramento Kings on Monday. The matchup is one of the biggest on the day’s NBA schedule, but how judicious should you be when it comes to picking players from it for your NBA DFS lineups? In Phoenix’s first meeting with Utah, Devin Booker scored a season-high 49 points, but in the four games since then, he has shot just 38.8% from the field.

Meanwhile, over their last five games, three of Sacramento’s players have all shot over 50%. Point guard De’Aaron Fox has averaged 26.2 points with 5.6 assists during that stretch, and he could be a stackable option in the NBA DFS player pool with guys like Domantas Sabonis or Malik Monk, who has averaged 16.8 points off the bench in that same run. Before making any NBA DFS picks, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with over $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Sunday, he highlighted Celtics G/F Jaylen Brown as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Brown scored 36 points to go with five rebounds and a pair of assists to return 45.25 points on DraftKings and 43 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to NBA action on Monday and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Monday, November 28

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Pelicans forward Zion Williamson who is listed at $7,900 on DraftKings and $7,800 on FanDuel. The oft-injured former first overall pick has missed five games this season, but has generally played well in the 14 games he’s been available. In his last game on Friday, he scored 14 points with five rebounds and four assists.

Williamson had a more impressive performance in his preceding outing against the Spurs, when he dropped 32 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. He should be looking for another such performance on Monday against Oklahoma City, who allowed Rockets rookie power forward Jabari Smith to score 15 points and snag 11 rebounds on Saturday. In away games this season, the Thunder have allowed opponents to average 51.4 points in the paint, which is tenth-worst in the NBA.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes stacking Williamson with New Orleans guard Jose Alvarado ($4,300 on DraftKings and $4,700 on FanDuel). Alvarado has started in the Pels’ last two games while CJ McCollum has been out (health and safety protocols). Although his scoring has actually dipped from his previous five games when he was averaging 20.6 minutes off the bench, he could be in line for a bigger performance on Monday.

Brandon Ingram (toe) is listed as doubtful, and New Orleans has a handful of other players that are listed as questionable for Monday’s matchup against the Thunder. One of the more encouraging things about Alvarado’s play over the last few games is that he doesn’t appear to be overthinking his role as a starter. In his first start on Wednesday against the Spurs, he had nine assists, and he’s had four total steals over his last two games.

How to set your NBA DFS lineups for Monday, November 28

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Monday because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
