The Mets are heading overseas in 2024.
MLB commissioner Rob Manfred announced Friday that the Mets and NL East rival Philadelphia Phillies will play a two-game series in London, England.
The games will be played June 8-9, 2024 at London Stadium.
“We think our game is at its best when we have traditional rivals playing and we want to show the fans here in London the very best form of baseball,” Manfred told reporters.
Interestingly enough, the announcement comes as the Mets and Phillies open a three-game weekend series in Philadelphia on Friday night.
