Who’s Playing

Toronto @ Indiana

Current Records: Toronto 3-3; Indiana 1-5

What to Know

The Indiana Pacers need to shore up a defense that is allowing 115.17 points per game before their contest Saturday. They and the Toronto Raptors will face off at 7:30 p.m. ET Oct. 30 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Toronto should still be riding high after a win, while the Pacers will be looking to get back in the win column.

Indiana came up short against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, falling 105-98. Point guard T.J. McConnell wasn’t much of a difference maker for Indiana; McConnell played for 33 minutes but put up just eight points on 4-for-14 shooting.

Meanwhile, Toronto escaped with a win on Friday against the Orlando Magic by the margin of a single free throw, 110-109. Toronto’s shooting guard Scottie Barnes was one of the most active players for the squad, picking up 21 points along with nine boards.

Indiana is the favorite in this one, with an expected 3.5-point margin of victory. Those who got lucky with them against the spread on Friday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the team has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.

The Pacers ended up a good deal behind the Raptors when they played this past Wednesday, losing 118-100. Maybe Indiana will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the matchup and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.
