Yankee Stadium tarp rain delay no opponent visible

The Yankees announced on Saturday evening that Sunday’s matchup with the Minnesota Twins has been postponed due to the forecast of severe inclement weather.

The game will be made up on Monday, Sept. 13, with first pitch set for 2:05 p.m.

Sunday’s action has been postponed as Hurricane Henri is expected to impact the New York area.

The Yankees will next take the field on Monday night, as they begin a two-game series in Atlanta against the Braves.
