The Atlanta Hawks will take on the Phoenix Suns at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday at the Footprint Center. Phoenix is 4-3 overall and 3-2 at home, while the Hawks are 4-5 overall and 1-4 on the road. These contenders split their two meetings last year with Atlanta dominating in a 135-103 win in May and Phoenix picking up a 117-110 win in March.

The Suns are coming off a 123-111 win over the Houston Rockets on Thursday. Shooting guard Devin Booker was the offensive standout of the game for Phoenix, picking up 27 points and five assists in addition to nine rebounds. Booker leads Phoenix with 22.6 points per game on the season. Mikal Bridges is next with 16.3 points per game and Deandre Ayton averages 14.2 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. 

It’s a relatively clean injury report for Phoenix with only Cameron Payne (hamstring) listed as questionable. He hasn’t played since Oct. 22, but appears to be close to a return.

Meanwhile, Atlanta lost to the Utah Jazz on Thursday 116-98. It was the first home loss for the Hawks this season. Atlanta’s loss came about despite a solid production from point guard Trae Young, who had 21 points and seven assists. Young leads the way with 22.4 points per game, though he’s down several points from his averages the past two seasons.

John Collins is averaging 14.9 points per game, but he’s questionable for this one with a foot injury. Atlanta is just 1-4 straight up on the road this year and the Hawks are 0-5 against the spread in road games.
