Barrett’s brutal NLDS Game 3 ump scorecard shows rough night originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
Barrett’s scorecard showed he missed 16 calls Monday night at Dodger Stadium, good for an 88 percent accuracy rate which is the worst of the postseason so far, per UmpireScorecards. Barrett’s 93 percent consistency rate Monday was tied for the second-worst in the playoffs, just behind Mark Carlsen in the AL Wild Card Game.

Per UmpireScorecards.com, Barrett ranked 92 out 99 umpires in average consistency this season so this is par for the course for Barrett.
I mean, this was called a strike.

Barrett was so bad he almost made Angel Hernandez’s performance in Game 2 look respectable.
In the end, Barrett’s horrific strike zone didn’t cost the Giants as Evan Longoria’s solo home run off Max Scherzer, Brandon Crawford’s leaping grab and the wind killing what looked like a game-tying home run from Gavin Lux helped San Francisco take a two-games-to-one series lead and push the Dodgers to the brink of elimination.
At least Barrett won’t be behind the dish when the Giants try to send the Dodgers to an early vacation Tuesday night.
