Who’s Playing

Atlanta @ Philadelphia

Current Records: Atlanta 3-2; Philadelphia 3-2

What to Know

The Philadelphia 76ers will stay at home another game and welcome the Atlanta Hawks at 7:30 p.m. ET Oct. 30 at Wells Fargo Center. Philadelphia is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home.

The 76ers were able to grind out a solid win over the Detroit Pistons on Thursday, winning 110-102. Philadelphia’s center Joel Embiid was one of the most active players for the team, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 18 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Atlanta received a tough blow on Thursday as they fell 122-111 to the Washington Wizards. Power forward John Collins put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted a double-double on 28 points and 12 boards.

Philadelphia is the favorite in this one, with an expected 3.5-point margin of victory. At 0-2 against the spread at home, they are no cash cow. That said, Atlanta isn’t so hot on the road, where they are 0-3.

Philadelphia’s victory brought them up to 3-2 while the Hawks’ loss pulled them down to an identical 3-2. The 76ers are 0-2 after wins this year, and Atlanta is 1-0 after losses.
