Who’s Playing

Los Angeles @ Philadelphia

Current Records: Los Angeles 24-24; Philadelphia 28-19

What to Know

The Los Angeles Lakers will hit the road for the fourth straight game as they head to Wells Fargo Center at 7:30 p.m. ET Thursday. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

Los Angeles was able to grind out a solid win over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, winning 106-96. The Lakers’ small forward LeBron James did his thing and had 33 points and six assists along with seven boards.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers picked up a 117-107 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday. Center Joel Embiid continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 42 points and 14 rebounds in addition to four blocks. Embiid’s night made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 32 points.

Los Angeles is expected to win this handily, but they should have beaten the Oklahoma City Thunder Nov. 4 easily too and instead slipped up with a 107-104. In other words, don’t count the 76ers out just yet.
