Who’s Playing

Brooklyn @ Chicago

Current Records: Brooklyn 7-3; Chicago 6-3

What to Know

The Brooklyn Nets might have tired legs after a matchup yesterday as they head on the road against the Chicago Bulls at 8 p.m. ET Nov. 8 at United Center. Brooklyn should still be riding high after a victory, while Chicago will be looking to get back in the win column.

The Nets didn’t have too much trouble with the Toronto Raptors on the road on Sunday as they won 116-103. Shooting guard James Harden and power forward Kevin Durant were among the main playmakers for Brooklyn as the former almost posted a triple-double on 28 points, ten boards, and eight assists and the latter had 31 points and seven assists in addition to seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Chicago came up short against the Philadelphia 76ers this past Saturday, falling 114-105. Despite the defeat, Chicago got a solid performance out of small forward DeMar DeRozan, who had 25 points.

Barring any buzzer beaters, Brooklyn is expected to win a tight contest on Monday. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with the Nets, who are 5-5 against the spread.

Brooklyn had enough points to win and then some against Chicago when the two teams previously met in May, taking their game 105-91. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brooklyn since the squad won’t have home-court advantage. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
