The Boston Celtics did not expect to start their 2022-23 campaign without their starting big man Robert Williams III, but after a lengthy recuperation for a cleanup surgery on the knee he tore a meniscus at the end of the last season, the Timelord is finally back on the court with the Celtics.

To start the Texas A&M product down the path he needs to be on to get his conditioning and familiarity with this iteration of the ball club under his belt after such a long absence, Williams has been coming off of the bench with no evident qualms about doing so. But a recent spate of suboptimal play has some fans thinking that perhaps Boston interim head coach Joe Mazzulla might be able to use the Louisiana native more effectively.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Vitamin Cs” podcast recently sat down to talk this issue over, debating which players Timelord best fits next to — and whether it makes sense to return him to the starting lineup.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what the duo had to say.
