It’s been less than 24 hours since the Denver Nuggets won the 2023 NBA championship but it’s never too early to look ahead to who might raise the Larry O’Brien Trophy in 2024.

And yes, despite the Milwaukee Bucks’ stunning first-round playoff exit this past season to the Miami Heat and welcoming in a new head coach, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. are among the favorites to win the NBA Finals next year.

When you have the two-time MVP and what still should be the core of the roster from the last several years it’s no surprise that the oddsmakers still like the Bucks, who boasted the best regular season record in 2022-23.

However, unlike when the 2023 playoffs began, they are not the betting favorite.

That honor goes to the Nuggets, who took down the same team that the Bucks struggled mightily against in their five-game playoff loss, the Miami Heat, to win their first NBA title in franchise history.
