Brandon Miller is one of the greatest basketball players to play at the University of Alabama. Though he was only a member of the Crimson Tide for a single season, he will be remembered for his leadership and elite play. Now, he has his sights set on the NBA.

International superstar Victor Wembanyama is practically the guaranteed first-overall pick. However, some uncertainty lingers regarding the second pick.

Cody Taylor of Rookie Wire believes Scoot Henderson of the NBA G-League Ignite will be selected second overall, which ultimately leads to Miller being the third player drafted.

Taylor has Miller being drafted to the Houston Rockets in the latest 2023 NBA mock draft.

“Miller had quite a season with the Crimson Tide and is now expected to be a top-three pick this year. He was named a consensus second-team All-American after averaging 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists on 38.4% shooting from 3-point range. He was the first player to win the SEC Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and conference tournament MVP in the same season, and was the fourth freshman in the last 50 years to lead the SEC in scoring.”

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Miller as he prepares for the 2023 NBA draft, which is set to take place on June 22, 2023.
