The offseason is still young, but the Brooklyn Nets have been making changes nonetheless. While there hasn’t been changes regarding the players on the roster just yet, Brooklyn has been shaking things up in a different way.

In a press release on Tuesday, the Nets announced additions of Kevin Ollie, Will Weaver, Jay Hernandez, Ronnie Burrell, and Corey Vinson to head coach Jacque Vaughn’s coaching staff. The only remaining coaches from the 2022-23 season are: Adam Caporn, Trevor Hendry, and Ryan Forehan-Kelly.

After a season in which Brooklyn went 45-37 to finish the regular-season as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, despite the franchise-altering trades of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the Nets have allowed Vaughn to build his staff as he sees fit. Vaughn took over as head coach of the team after Steve Nash was fired following a 2-5 start to the campaign. Brooklyn has now taken care of the coaching staff in time for the 2023 NBA Draft on Thursday.
