C’s update Robert Williams’ status for Wednesday vs. Hawks originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

Robert Williams’ status is up in the air for Wednesday’s game vs. the Atlanta Hawks.

The Boston Celtics big man is listed as questionable on the injury report after exiting Monday night’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers with left knee soreness. The team officially listed Williams’ injury as left knee tendinopathy.

Jaylen Brown will remain sidelined as he recovers from his hamstring injury.

Williams has thrived as the Celtics’ starting center so far this season. Through 13 games, the 24-year-old is averaging 10.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks.

Celtics vs. Hawks tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET Wednesday on NBC Sports Boston.
