Game notes: Wednesday night marks the return of Pistons basketball to Little Caesars Arena, the first of four preseason games leading up to the season opener on Oct. 20 vs. the Chicago Bulls. There will be a few noticeable absences for Wednesday night’s contest: Cade Cunningham and Frank Jackson will be out nursing injuries. Cunningham, the top pick from the 2021 NBA draft, may see limited playing time throughout the preseason as coach Dwane Casey says they want to take their time in bringing him back.
