KELLY’S BACK: Detroit Pistons happy to see Kelly Olynyk find his rhythm after injuries

NEW EDITION: Detroit Pistons sign former Virginia standout Braxton Key to 10-day contract

Game notes: Friday night’s contest between the Wizards and Pistons is the final time the two teams will meet this season. It’s also the final time the Pistons will get a chance to avoid a season sweep from the Wizards. Entering Friday’s game, the Pistons are 0-3 against the Wizards. The Pistons’ last victory over the Wizards was April 1, 2021.

If the Pistons want to avoid a sweep, they’ll need to repeat the success they had in their victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. The Pistons had eight players score in double figures with Jerami Grant‘s 21 points leading the way.

Isaiah Livers (concussion) is out, but one name not listed on the latest injury report is Frank Jackson, who has been out with a back issue for the past few weeks.
