The 2023 NBA draft is roughly three weeks away, which means pre-draft visits and workouts have ramped up.

The Oklahoma City Thunder own the picks at No. 12, No. 37 and No. 50, which creates a wide range of prospects they could select at those spots.

An intriguing option for the Thunder at No. 12 is Kansas forward Gradey Dick, who was in OKC on Friday, June 2 for a likely pre-draft visit and/or workout.

Dick announced his visit with the Thunder on his Instagram story.

In all likelihood though, Dick won’t be an option for the Thunder as he is being heavily projected to go in the top 10 of the draft as the best shooter of this year’s class.

The 19-year-old spent one college season at Kansas. In 36 games last season, he averaged 14.1 points on 44.2% shooting, 5.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists. He also shot 40.3% from 3 on 5.7 attempts.

If the Thunder truly wants Dick, they’ll likely need to trade up as he likely won’t last until the 12th spot.

The 2023 NBA draft is scheduled for Thursday, June 22. A full list of prospects who’ve met with the Thunder can be read here.
