Here are early NBA Eastern Conference Finals matchup odds originally appeared on NBC Sports Philadelphia

The 2021-22 NBA season tips off tonight, bringing a return to normalcy. The Milwaukee Bucks took full advantage of the plethora of injuries affecting the league’s top teams and won the 2021 NBA Finals. But the Bucks might not have even got the chance to play in the Finals if Kevin Durant‘s shoe size was a little bit bigger.

The Brooklyn Nets, despite currently playing without Kyrie Irving are currently the favorites to win the Eastern Conference, according to PointsBet Sportsbook.

Sports bettors believe that a Bucks-Nets Eastern Conference Finals is the most likely matchup at +275.

The Philadelphia Sixers hold the second-best odds to meet the Nets at +700. The Miami Heat (+875) enter the season with the third-best odds to play the Nets followed by the Atlanta Hawks (+1300).

The Boston Celtics are currently fifth at +1300, with a Bucks-76ers ECF matchup at +2200 odds.

A Chicago Bulls matchup against the Nets is listed at +2500.

The road to the NBA Finals apparently goes through Brooklyn.

Whether the Nets can be beaten with two of the best superstar players in the world, remains to be seen.
