How to Watch Bulls vs. Hornets BetCast originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago

The 2021-22 regular season is coming to a close for the NBA, but we still have so much in store before the playoffs begin on Saturday, April 16.

This week, the No. 6 Bulls have faced the No. 3 Celtics on Wednesday and now will take on the No. 10 Hornets on Friday and the game will be unique in nature, hosted by NBC Sports Chicago and PointsBet Sportsbook.

While the Hornets are going to be fighting for their spot in the playoffs via the play-in tournament on April 12 or 13, the Bulls’ top-six seed and first-round opponent will be determined in the last few games of the season.

When is the Bulls-Hornets game?

Tipoff for the Bulls-Hornets game is set for 8 p.m. ET on Friday at the United Center in Chicago.

What channel is the Bulls-Hornets game on?

There will be a sports betting telecast to go along with the traditional broadcast. 

The alternate BetCast stream will be live on NBC Sports Chicago Plus. This stream will provide commentary with a betting focus. NBC Sports Chicago’s David Kaplan will host, along with NBC Chicago’s Will Perdue and PointsBet Head Oddsmaker Jay Croucher.

What is BetCast?

BetCast is an alternate live game sports-betting experience. The program has been used for select games since April 2019. NBC Sports Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington have all utilized BetCast for NBA games.

During the BetCast stream, viewers can select PointsBet’s “Live Same Game Parlay” option to place bets, all while tracking real-time odds, player performance and team stats.

Prior to the game, there will be a special telecast getting you ready for BetCast. “Bet the EDGE GameTime,” a podcast hosted by Sara Perlman and Drew Dinsick, will have a special edition episode leading into the game on NBC Sports Chicago PLUS from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET.

There will also be interactive ways to engage with the betting experience on Twitter with NBC Sports Chicago and PointsBet.
