The Los Angeles Lakers will have one of the more intriguing summer league rosters that they have possessed in recent years.

Headlining that team is Jalen Hood-Schifino, an Indiana University guard the organization took with the No. 17 pick in Thursday’s draft, and Pepperdine University forward Maxwell Lewis, the No. 40 selection. In addition, the Lakers will roll out guards D’Moi Hodge and Damion Baugh, forwards Alex Fudge and Cole Swider, wing Max Christie and big man Colin Castleton.

Reportedly, the man who will be coaching them during summer league play next month is JD DuBois, who joined Darvin Ham’s coaching staff last summer.

DuBois has been a player development coach for several years with multiple NBA teams, and he previously coached the Detroit Pistons’ summer league squad in 2021.
