The collective fanbases of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and now the Brooklyn Nets all have one thing in common — they know what the wild ride that is a Kyrie Irving tenure on their favorite team looks like from start to finish.

So one can be forgiven if one is a member of said franchise fanbases if one scoffs at the idea that new the Dallas Mavericks tandem of Irving and superstar wing Luka Doncic is the best such pairing in the league. But such is the question being raised by Boston basketball royalty on a recent episode of “KG Certified”.

The eponymous host Kevin Garnett and fellow Celtics Hall of Famer Paul Pierce recently debated just how much we ought to fear Luka and Kyrie on the same squad.
