The Knicks waived guard Luca Vildoza on Sunday morning, trimming their roster to 19 players.

The 26-year-old from Argentina signed a four-year deal worth up to $13.6 million with the final three years non-guaranteed on May 5. He played in two Summer League games for the Knicks.

Vildoza had been playing in Spain for Baskonia since 2017, averaging 8.2 points per game on 41.8 percent shooting across EuroLeague and Liga ACB games over four seasons.

The Knicks currently have 14 players signed to guaranteed contracts. Aamir Simms and Dwayne Bacon are on non-guaranteed deals, while rookie Jericho Sims is on a two-way contract.

They will have to cut the roster to 17 players by opening night on Oct. 20, and can have 15 players on traditional contracts plus two players on two-way deals. This means they currently have one opening for a traditional contract and one opening for a two-way player.
