The Chicago Bulls are riding a two-game losing streak after two-straight embarrassing losses to the Indiana Pacers and the Charlotte Hornets.

Chicago currently sits as the No. 11 seed in the East, outside of the play-in tournament.

With the Feb. 9 trade deadline rapidly approaching, the Bulls find themselves in numerous trade rumors across the league.

From Marc Stein via Yahoo! Sports’ Jake Fischer, there’s been ‘rumbling’ that the Bulls are seeking two future first-round picks in return for Alex Caruso, if Chicago were to part with the six-year guard.

Both the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks have been linked to having interest in Caruso per K.C. Johnson of NBCS Chicago, but if the Bulls were to openly make him available, contenders around the league will flock in order to acquire the Swiss-army knife.

In 42 games this season, Caruso is averaging 5.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game on 38.7 percent from 3-point range.

For the Bulls, if resetting their roster is what they decide to do ahead of the trade deadline, acquiring future assets for a coveted played like Caruso is their best move.
