The Golden State Warriors reportedly have “sincere” interest in former Boston Celtics star Isaiah Thomas.

The veteran guard has dealt with injuries since his All-NBA-caliber 2016-17 campaign, but he recently told Marc Spears that he is “fully healthy now and can do everything I used to do and more.”

He also said that he is in better shape than he was in 2017 and is even dunking again – an impressive feat for the 5-foot-9 guard – according to Spears.

The Warriors are working out Thomas as well as his former Celtics teammate Avery Bradley, Spears said.

Thomas has sometimes been effective in limited minutes over the past four seasons, with his best performances coming for the Washington Wizards in 2019-20 and in a time-share between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers in 2017-18.

He is a career 18.1 points per game scorer, but was at his best in green when he scored 24.7 points per game over parts of three seasons.

Bradley spent his first seven NBA seasons in Boston before he was traded to the Detroit Pistons for Marcus Morris in 2017. He won a title with the Lakers in 2020 after signing with them in free agency. He last played with the Houston Rockets, after being traded there midseason for Victor Oladipo.
