With the 2021-22 season schedule out and teams looking at what the season could bring, we take one last look at the 2020-21 season and some of the top moments for the Philadelphia 76ers.

For this edition, we take it back to a regular-season game in January where the short-handed Sixers took on the equally short-handed Miami Heat. Both teams were hit hard with the league’s health and safety protocols, but the Sixers leaned on Joel Embiid and another reliable veteran.

Danny Green stepped up in a big way: He drilled a career-high nine 3s on his way to 29 points. He attempted 21 on the night, and Philadelphia needed it in the worst way in a 137-134 overtime victory. The three-time champion had a hot night on a cold winter’s night in January.

With Green now re-signed, the Sixers will rely on the veteran even more as they head into a 2021-22 season as they hope to get over the hump and win that elusive championship.
