With the dull part of the offseason now here, a lot of NBA players are participating in certain summer leagues in order to stay in shape and continue to prepare for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Young Philadelphia 76ers guards Isaiah Joe and Tyrese Maxey participated in the 17th annual Rumph Classic on Monday over at LaSalle University as they continued to prepare for the upcoming season. Maxey stole the show with his highlights, but Joe participated and knocked down some triples to help Team FOE win the title.
After the game, Joe took to Instagram on Tuesday to show his love and appreciation for the city of Philadelphia.
Heading into his third season, Joe will need to have a big leap to show coach Doc Rivers that he belongs in the rotation. He will need to bring his 3-point shooting to the Sixers as he has not yet been able to do so in his first two seasons in the league.
