The 2022-23 season continues to approach for the Philadelphia 76ers and they will soon receive their opportunity to rebound from a Round 2 ouster from the 2022 playoffs.
The preseason schedule continues to be released in bits and pieces before the grind of 82 games. The Sixers will face the Brooklyn Nets in a preseason matchup on Oct. 3 and now they know they will host LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets in the preseason on Oct. 12.
Per Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer who got his hands on the Hornets’ preseason schedule, the game will tip off at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. EDT. It is Charlotte’s final game of the preseason.
The Sixers will host the Hornets for a preseason game on October 12th. That’s 2 pieces of the preseason schedule that’s been released. The Sixers will be in Brooklyn to face the Nets on October 3rd. https://t.co/xnB3u2A73g

Assuming that it would also be Philadelphia’s final preseason game, this will give the Sixers a chance to get a final look at some of their younger players before they have to make final decisions on the roster. The 2022-23 season will begin sometime around Oct. 20.
