Impressive stats sum up Steph’s 45-point game vs. Clippers originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
Steph Curry was otherworldly yet again Thursday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Helping lead the way to a Warriors’ 115-113 win over Los Angeles, Curry’s 45 points and a couple of clutch 3-pointers in the final two minutes, helped to stave off a late Clippers’ comeback.
A perfect first-quarter in which Curry scored 25 points on 9-of-9 shooting from the field and 5-of-5 from 3-point range was something he had only done one other time in his career, as had fellow “Splash Brother” Klay Thompson.

Not only did Curry get it done through the air, but came away with 10 rebounds. Recording his eighth triple-double of the season in Tuesday night’s season-opening win over the Los Angeles Lakers, Curry begins his 2021-22 campaign as one of the league’s leading rebounders.

Curry’s 3-point and rebounding totals from Thursday night place him in an exclusive club. One that he was already a member of.
There’s only been 27 instances in NBA history where a player grabbed 10+ rebounds and hit 8+ tnrees.
Steph has done it twice now.

Steph’s monster performance against the Clippers came two days after the point guard referred to his shooting performance Tuesday night against the Lakers as “trash.”
