INDIANAPOLIS – The Pacers won’t have a home preseason game on Oct. 7, but Tyrese Haliburton plans to be in Gainbridge Fieldhouse anyway.
The Pacers’ All-Star point guard is a devoted fan of professional wrestling, a passion he shares with his father. He attended WWE’s Smackdown at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in November and spent time backstage with several of his wrestling heroes, including Triple-H, to whom he gave a Pacers jersey.
WWE announced on Tuesday that it will return to Gainbridge for WWE Fastlane. Haliburton was apparently overjoyed.

Training camp is expected to start in late September, so Haliburton will have to hope the Pacers aren’t on the road that night.
