The NBA preseason kicked into full gear Monday and four former University of Tennessee players were in action.

Vols Wire looks at how the former Volunteers fared in their respective games.

In Boston, the Celtics outlasted Orlando, 98-97, at TD Garden in a contest that featured three former Vols.

For Boston, Josh Richardson made his debut with the team and he endured some offensive struggles against the Magic.

Richardson scored two points, while going 1-for-8 from the field and 0-for-2 from beyond the 3-point arc. Richardson recorded two rebounds and two blocks.

Grant Williams also played for the Celtics Monday. He played 10 minutes and scored three points, totaled two rebounds and recorded one steal in Boston’s victory.

Admiral Schofield played five minutes for the Magic, scoring three points.

In Toronto, Philadelphia dropped a 123-107 decision to the Raptors.

Rookie and former Tennessee star Jaden Springer played 12 minutes and scored four points. He also recorded one rebound and two assists.

Tobias Harris did not play against the Raptors.

In Los Angeles, the Clippers outlasted Denver, 103-102, at Staples Center. Rookie and Keon Johnson did not play.
