The Boston Celtics are perhaps better prepared than any team in the NBA to get back to the finals, at least on paper. But as fans of many a team that was supposed to dominate and did not can attest, basketball games are not played on a notebook scratch pad.

What are the Celtics’ biggest potential hurdles to getting the club to the 2023 NBA Finals? The Milwaukee Bucks, the Philadelphia 76ers or the Cleveland Cavaliers? Could it be their own bad habits or relative inexperience that might keep the Celtics from another go at Banner 18 this postseason?

The club has competition from dangerous Eastern Conference teams to consider, and as recent contests have born out, Boston is not yet above beating itself.
