The Philadelphia Eagles are the lone remaining unbeaten team in football.

And because of that, plus how they’ve banded together on both sides of the pigskin, they’re ranked first in FOX Sports’ latest NFL power rankings.

But while “Undisputed” cohost Shannon Sharpe agreed with their listing atop the league, he withheld from buying stock into the squad, claiming that he needs to see more from Philly before he could give it a vote of confidence.

Jalen Hurts, undefeated Eagles top FOX Sports NFL Power Rankings through Week 4

Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless examine the Eagles ahead of their Week 5 matchup with the Cardinals.

“They look really good,” Sharpe exclaimed on Wednesday’s show. “I think right now they’re the best overall team as far as offense, defense and special teams. [Their] quarterback’s playing really well. Not the highest completion percentage but they can run the football. A.J. Brown has really opened up the playbook for Jalen Hurts, you have DaVonta [Smith] on one side, Quez Watkins, they have a lot of receivers that can make plays for you. [Tight end] Dallas Goedert, who’s a really good tight end.

“For me, I like what Jalen is doing. He’s going to have to continue it. Four games is not enough for me. I remember when Patrick Mahomes won the MVP and lost in the playoffs, and they were like, ‘well can he win the big game?’ Let the sink in: The man threw for 5,000 [yards], 50 TDs, lost in a championship game and didn’t touch the ball in overtime, and people still had questions. … Hurts is going to have to do it playoff time in order for me to be fully convinced. … I’m about seven on a scale of 1-10 [when it comes to being sold on them].”

Skip Bayless is all-in on Philly

“I tried to tell you so the whole offseason,” he said. “You scoffed at me when I told you the Eagles are a little better than the Cowboys. … I’m looking at Philly’s schedule – it’s pretty easy. I said, ‘They’re going to go 10-0,’ and that will include a victory over my Cowboys at their place on a Sunday night … That’s in large part because of Jalen Hurts. There’s not a better leader, gamer, winner, playmaker than Jalen Hurts.

“Intangibly, he’s at the top of my list. But I knew that coming in, I first guessed it the day they picked him in the second round. I said, ‘They just stole him. He will be better than Carson Wentz just because of his intangibles.’ … Jalen Hurts is a face of the franchise leader. … He’s everything you could want intangibly in a quarterback, and that team fights for him and dies for him. When they fell behind 14-0 [against Jacksonville] they showed me something. … Jacksonville fell apart under the onslaught that was Jalen Hurts. Look what Philly’s doing. What’s the most telltale, season-deciding stat? It’s plus-minus. They’re taking the ball away, they’ve taken it away 10 times, and only given it away two times.”
