Game notes: Detroit is coming off a solid win vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning in which rookie Jonatan Berggren, along with three others, scored and Ville Husso made 44 of 46 saves. Florida lost Tuesday to the Winnipeg Jets after a brief-but-dominant two-game win streak in which they outscored Vancouver and Seattle, 10-2.

The Wings get a few days off before playing the Dallas Stars on the road Saturday. The Panthers play Saturday at the Lightning.
