The Rangers are getting their Vezina hopeful back in Igor Shesterkin.

Shesterkin was placed in health and safety protocols on Jan. 6, but has cleared them before the Blueshirts’ matchup in San Jose against the Sharks on Thursday.

It’s unknown if Shesterkin will play, but the Rangers did assign Keith Kinkaid to the taxi squad, which is good news for the 26-year-old.

The Rangers went 1-2 in Shesterkin’s absence – Alexandar Georgiev stopped 79 of 87 shots faced (.907 save percentage).

Shesterkin leads the NHL with a .936 save percentage, and his 2.09 GAA is the fourth-best mark in the league.
