In this Islanders vs Flyers post game news conference, Center Casey Cizikas and defenseman Robin Salo talk about the team completing a sweep of their home and home with the Flyers, 4-3 win in a shootout. Salo scored his first NHL goal to open the scoring but it was Cizikas’ goal with just over five minutes to play, that tied the game at three. The Islanders are back to the .500 mark and with an important homestand coming up, Cizikas sees a real opportunity for the team “to keep moving forward and keep climbing those standings.”
